1. What are the 5 different types of textile?

Textile is made from many materials, with four main sources: animal (wool, silk), plant (cotton, jute, flax, bamboo), minerals (glass fiber, asbestos) and synthetic (nylon, polyester, acrylic, rayon).

Animal Textiles are made from hair, fur, skin or silk.Plant
Grass, rush, hemp and sisal are all used in making rope. In the first two the entire plant is used for this purpose, while in the last two, only fibres from the plant are utilized.
